Three-and-a-half miles of beach and 2,791 acres of wooded canyons, bluffs and trails in the backcountry make this jewel of the coast a true haven for protected habitat as well as outdoor enthusiasts. Scuba divers, snorkelers, surfers, mountain bikers, joggers, hikers and equestrians all find something to do. Crystal Cove State Park also features historic cottages, perfect for a trip back in time to last-century on the Southern California Coast and unique beachfront dining at the Beachcomber cafe or Crystal Cove Shake Shack.

Details: Starting at the Ranger Station, walk downhill and turn left onto the dirt trail before the campground. Continue on the dirt to the long bridge. Once you cross the bridge, you will be in beautiful Moro Canyon. Continue up the MORO CANYON Trail until you reach the junction with POLES and WEST CUT ACROSS. Turn around here and retrace your steps back to the Ranger Station.
